The idea of Astradeals104 cc was initiated by Ettiene Parsons in 2004 after
identifying major socio-economic issues as well as a lack in proper training and skills
development in the Northern Cape; particularly amongst the youth, women and

Previously Disadvantaged Individuals. Mr. Parsons himself has been involved in
youth development, training and facilitation since 1999 through several institutions
and organisations on a national level. Initially he addressed the deficits through an
NGO; i.e. Upington Youth Development Centre, of which he was the founder and
Manager until end of 2007.

Astradeals104 was subsequently formally registered in 2008 and initially focused its
operations mainly on youth development, however, the need to also build capacity in
other spheres increased and on this basis the company expanded its services later
to also target Local Government Planning and training within the Province.

As the name indicates “the stars are (literally) the limit” for the company; hence the
Motto: No limits to development. Whatever need a client might identify
Astradeals104 always strives to meet it according to their specifics. Astradeals104

therefore focuses on all kinds of development, including project planning and
management as well as capacity building programmes in all spheres of government.

With the start of 2010, yet another opportunity for development was identified and as
mentioned, only the stars will limit the company’s contributions and activities.
Another leg was introduced and services of the company now also include Project
Construction and General Maintenance.
